Book flights to arrive in Puerto Vallarta by morning or afternoon of 5/1 no later than 4pm and depart afternoon or evening on 5/5 no earlier than 12noon so the resort can arrange your boat transportation.
If you’d like to carpool and travel with the group we will also have a Slack channel to coordinate group travel we will add you to once you pay your deposit.
Our retreat leader, Taylor, is taking American Airlines flight AA 764 from LAX to PVR from 10:19am to 2:14pm on Thursday, May 1st
and
American Airlines AA 764 from PVR to LAX from at 3:43pm to 6:03pm on Monday, May 5th
If you book flights outside of these times, you are responsible for managing your own schedule to meet us for our boat trip to the resort on time. Ensure your arriving flight to PVR lands before 4pm and your departing flight leaves after 12pm so the resort can arrange your boat transportation.
You MUST buy insurance on your plane tickets as well as travel insurance. We are not responsible for travel delays from missed flights, miss booked flights, or weather.
NEVER BUY A FLIGHT FROM A THIRD PARTY. BOOK DIRECTLY THROUGH THE AIRLINE.
Many students prefer to get into town a day early and meet us at the airport, or extend their trip longer after our retreat.

Yes- this retreat is beginner friendly! You would be surprised how many people join our retreats who have never done aerial yoga before. We will have beginner level classes during the retreat. In fact, you don’t have to do any aerial yoga at all if you don’t want to, there are plenty of other things to fill your schedule with :)

YES! Most people book solo and meet their new yogi besties. You’ll fit right in :)

This is an 18+ retreat.

Yes, of course! Every retreat we usually have at least one couple. The boys are welcome to join all aerial yoga classes and excursions just like any other guests, but don’t have to if they do not want to. If you are traveling with a partner, we highly recommend the Lovers Casita for the most romantic getaway!

Transportation from the airport, family style meals, potable water, accomodation, daily aerial yoga classes and aerial sound bath.
The resort also has shampoo, conditioner, body wash, bug spray, and towels- so you can pack light!

Alcohol, ala carte food outside of meal time, excursions, spa treatments, and travel insurance. You MUST purchase your own travel insurance policy as Open Aerial is not responsible for any travel disruptions.

$300 non refundable down payment to reserve your room in Puerto Vallarta! This is a separate transaction from your payment in full or monthly payments and non refundable. This payment allows Open Aerial to reserve your room at the retreat center and MUST be paid before paying for or starting payments towards your room.
We are happy to waive this if you upgrade your current membership or start a new one to be more involved at the studio :)

We currently have 2 twin beds available in our shared room, the Palapa.
Closest to the yoga studio, the small palapa is equipped with four cozy single beds which are only women from Open Aerial.
Only accessible by stairs, this room is high in the mountains, with a luxurious jungle experience.
It has a large terrace for your own private yoga or meditation space, a large hammock, spacious bathroom with a breezy, open-air shower.

With Flight Room Seattle, Taylor gathered dozen new friends for seven amazing days jam-packed of aerial yoga and adventure at the gorgeous Villa Serena all-inclusive luxury resort on the tropical island of the Dominican Republic!
Our experience included three delicious meals each day, luxury accommodations, daily aerial yoga classes in the oceanfront studio and access to the resort’s many amenities including pool, beach, snorkels, bicycles and kayaks.
We intentionally built in plenty of “down time” to allow as much adventure or relaxation as you’d like.
We come home from the retreat with full hearts, new friends, and plenty of photos to save our precious memories!
